Disgaea Dimension 2 , known in North America as Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, is a 2013 video game in the Disgaea series developed by Nippon Ichi Software. The game is a sequel to 2003's Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PlayStation 2, where the respective main characters of that game will be the focus. It was released on March 20, 2013 for the PlayStation 3.

Disgaea Dimension 2 Plot

The base will be Krichevskoy's Castle, and you can explore it as Laharl, Etna or Flonne, all carrying special interactions with inhabitants and surroundings). RosenQueen Co., Hospital, and Dark Assembly (Still unknown whether renamed) and various inhabitants have been shown inside the castle.

Disgaea Dimension 2 Gameplay

Disgaea Dimension 2 will include new combination attacks and an improved master/student-system (that was absent from some of the previous titles) which enables more variety of skills to be learned by characters. Also new, characters in group have relationship status that when increased allows character-bound special action and in-game-events, such as protecting and countering for character.

Also coming is a new feature, that enables monster to be used as mounts, which enable special mount only attacks.

The game feature a new male Priest and female Armored Knight. New weapon type - book, has also been released.

The classical instance Item World also returns, but Disgaea 4's Character World return has not been published, seeing as Master/Student system makes it nearly obsolete.
