THE RIGHT STUFF!
Welcome to our new issue. You know, in these days of censorship and economic punishment
of sex publications (like the banning of Playboy and Penthouse by 7-11 stores),
it's not easy putting a magazine together. All the titles are hurting, all of
them are having problems reaching their readers—simply because the retailers,
afraid of harassment by special interest "morality" squads, are not
placing the magazines on their shelves. Well, in spite of this, whether people
read it or not, we here at Adult Video are still doing the same job we've always
done—straightforward, honest reporting on the latest sex-flicks. We don't
waste your time or money like some other mags do, telling you such-and-such a
starlet sucks 97 cocks on a weekend while ten tv repairmen jerk off on her face.
We tell it like it is, because we think it's worth telling. Our interviews are
what the girls really said, not fabrications by some hack-writer. Our reviews
are descriptive, helping you decide what movies are worth watching while at the
same time admitting that every- I body has his or her own preferences in X-rated
action, which makes any critique subject to the critic's idiosyncratic prejudices.
We act like adults when we write about adult entertainment, which is more than
we can say about the censors and bluenoses.
So, here it is. We hope that everybody who wants a copy has been able to get one.
Now dig in. This is another of our damn good issues.
