INTRODUCTION
100 new porn stars at least—have entered the adult video industry since
our last Porn Star Annual a year ago. And that's just the women! It's the girls
who draw the guys into the business and sell the videos to the fans. With over
3,000 new releases being cranked out every year there's a constant demand for
new, hot female faces and bodies. They come and they go, but the Porn Star Annual
is devoted to the ones who've stayed around, at least for a year or so. Our selection
of the nearly 100 hottest babes in the industry runs the gamut from Christy Canyon,
the glamorous grande dame of working porn queens, to up and corners like Tabitha
Stevens who are so new we haven't even had a chance to accumulate their credits.
As in our previous editions we concentrate on the women—for reasons of space
limitations and fan interest. This year our token male star is Steven St. Croix,
one of the two men under contract to Vivid Video. We cover his debut as a director,
putting the likes of Dyanna Lauren, Anna Malle and Melissa Hill through their
paces. Who is the hottest new babe of the year? So far it looks like blonde spitfire
Missy—and we've got an exclusive Q&A with her by Jeremy Stone. Porn
stars are people, too, and three women with significant others who also work in
the industry are interviewed by John Stanley White in "Married, With Porn
Stars." Finally, veteran critic and pornophile William Rotsler gives his
very personal list of the best and hottest of the women now working in adult video.
