This series parodies shows like The Mod Squad, Dark Shadows, and Marooned. It also satires public figures such as Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew, The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Yoko Ono, The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Elvis Presley, The Osmonds, Donny Osmond, David Cassidy, Tom Jones, and Rod Stewart.
