Richie Rich & Billy Bellhops Comic Books

Richie Rich and Billy Bellhops was a one-shot comic book published by Harvey Comics in October 1977.

Richard "Richie" $ Rich, Jr. (often stylized as Ri¢hie Ri¢h) is a fictional character in the Harvey Comics universe. He debuted in Little Dot #1, cover-dated September 1953, and was created by Alfred Harvey and Warren Kremer. Dubbed "the poor little rich boy," Richie is the only child of fantastically wealthy parents and is the world's richest kid. So rich, his middle name is a dollar sign, $.

Although this is his first and only appearance in a story, Billy Bellhops appeared alongside Mr. Rich, Richie Rich, Jackie Jokers, Nap Sack, Komix Kidd & Adam Awards in a bizarre long running ad promoting Adam Awards that ran in various Harvey titles throughout 1975-78. A few years prior to this issue, and even after it's publication. Ironically, Adam Awards never made a single appearance in an actual story, neither did Komix Kidd for that matter, as for Billy, he just faded away into oblivion following this issue, never actually getting to appear in a story with Richie Rich, and basically becoming a punchline for many articles and blogs relating to lame and stupid comic book characters.
