The Jughead Comic Book Magazine Series is a spinoff from Archie Comics, featuring Archie Andrews's best friend Jughead in his own stories.
Jughead first appeared in Pep Comics #22 in 1941 and later grew into his own title Archie's Pal Jughead Comics in 1949. Most stories show how Jughead pigs out on food, avoiding Big Ethel, who has a crush on him and outsmarting nemesis Reggie Mantle.
