The twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago are the southernmost nation in the Caribbean, just a few miles off the coast of Venezuela. The capital city is Port-of-Spain, the currency is the Trinidad & Tobago dollar, the official language is English and the population is over 1.1 million. Trinidad is rich in natural resources and highly industrialized. Tobago has beautiful beaches, rugged mountains and is a favorite stop for tourists.
