Star Trek was a comic book series published by DC Comics in the US, and they ran an annual series running from 1985 until 1988 and then a second series running from 1990 until 1995. During those years, two series of large-sized annual issues were produced, three for volume 1 and six for volume 2. This is volume 1 which ran from 1985 to 1988.
