Mickey Maus Sonderheft is a German comic book that has been published since 1951 by Ehapa Publishing and contains comics from the Disney production, especially with the characters Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other denizens of Duckburg.
From the start, more stories were about Donald Duck than the titular mouse.
The series first appeared irregularly, and then became a monthly in 1955. In 1956 the publication was increased to two a week, and special issues were also added. Longer stories, which were previously earmarked for the special issues started to appear as continuations which would be spread over several issues. Issue 26 in 1957 was converted to a weekly publication that has been maintained until today.
